Recharges Battery When Power Is Restored

Introducing a forward-thinking emergency power station designed to power your primary sump pump during an electrical outage

Simply connect a primary pump (or two) and a Richtech 75 AMP SLA battery to the inverter, then plug the inverter into the wall. The Richtech Inverter monitors the power line and automatically detects when a power failure occurs. The Inverter provides AC power to the sump pump, maintaining normal operation during the loss of power. Once power is restored, the Inverter recharges the battery back to full capacity.

Sump Pump and Pit Installation

Our sump pump pit system is a high quality system at an economical price. Our system includes:

A deep sump liner with a lot of holes (to allow water to enter quickly)
Put plenty of clean ¾" gravel around the liner
Pit is flush to the basement floor with a lid
Cement is put around the outside of the pit (to give it a clean finish look)
We install a new 1/3h submersible sump pump and drain outside
All piping is included with a check valve

We have a wide range of battery back-up systems that can easily be added onto our sump pump system.

Window Well Installation

At SafeStep Building Treatments Inc., our window well installation includes:

Digging to the footing
Prep and cleaning the wall
Repairing any cracks or problems
Waterproofing the wall with "TUFF-N-DRI"
Putting drainage pipe in to allow water to get to the perimeter drainage faster
Lots of ¾" clean gravel for back-fill
Installing a new metal window well

Excavation of Foundation Walls

At SafeStep Building Treatments Inc. one of our water control systems is excavation.

We have the equipment, the products, and the knowledge to do the job right from start to finish. From calling for locates to the final back-fill, we will look after it all.

After the initial excavation of your foundation, we:

Clean and prep the wall
Inspect wall and make necessary repairs
Apply the building code approved waterproofing system called TUFF-N-DRI*
Inspect perimeter drainage and evaluate
Back-fill with lots of ¾" clean gravel
Compacting soil every 2' when back-filling
Clean up and inspect

* TUFF-N-DRI consists of a flexible membrane with a premium foundation board, which protects, insulates, and drains.
